There is no pressure to perform, but we do sing at fundraising and other similar events. We have joined with other singers to perform at Beamish Museum on several occasions. Some of us sing in local folk clubs, either in a group or as solo performers. There are many opportunities to get involved in the local music scene. Why not join some of us to watch one of Jude's gigs? Or come on the Tyne Valley Folk Train (to sing or just to listen)?
Maria has run the Loch Down Folk Club every Sunday evening at 8pm since the start of the pandemic. All nationalities. All languages. All welcome. Use the link below or contact us to find out more.
As regional volunteer coordinator, heritage specialist and choir leader for the Workers' Educational Association, Jude regularly seeks opportunities for groups to work together and share interests.
Whatever we do, we always have fun and make new friends wherever we go.
AND AFTER A GLOBAL PANDEMIC WE NOW HAVE FRIENDS ALL OVER THE WORLD!
